SweetDreamers Ewan The Dream Sheep is a cuddly toy designed to help soothe your little one to sleep. By using soothing white noises and a soft glowing light, both designed to help settle young babies and toddlers into a peaceful sleep.
Design and Features
Ewan the dream sheep has a cuddly, soft body, which your little one should love to cuddle. He is available in two colours, either purple or grey. Ewan the Dream sheep can be attached to your child’s cot, pram or car seat as he comes with a very handy velcro tail. Meaning you can keep Ewan securely attached, so there is less chance of your child losing him. Ewan requires 3 x AAA batteries to work, which are not included with your purchase. So you will need to make sure you have some available before buying.
To hear one of the soothing sounds, simply press one of Ewan’s legs. Each leg plays a different sound. Once you press one of his legs, the sound will play for 20 minutes then turn off. The soundtracks include a vacuum cleaner, rain, a harp recording and the sound of the womb, all of which are designed to help your baby sleep. Ewan the dream sheep also has a soft glowing light, which works alongside with the sound. However if you do not like the glowing light, this can be turned off.
Performance
I purchased Ewan the dream sheep for my daughter when she was first born, and used him from day one. Ewan the dream sheep came very well packaged in a well-presented box. Meaning he would also make an excellent gift for a loved one as well as a lovely purchase for your own child. As soon as Ewan arrived, I took him out of the box and could instantly tell he was a very well made product. Ewan is very soft and feels very good quality, so he should last for many years to come.
Ewan the dream sheep is the perfect size for newborns and toddlers. He easily attaches to a cot, car seat or pram by his Velcro tail. The Velcro is very strong, so you do not need to worry about your baby or toddler pulling him off.The control switch is nicely tucked away inside of Ewan, so your baby or toddler should not be able to access it. You can use the control switch to turn Ewan’s sound and light on or off and control the sound to either quiet of loud. Once the control switch is inside Ewan, he is still nice and cuddly. You cannot feel the box too much at all.
As stated earlier, we used Ewan the dream sheep from day one with our daughter and he has worked amazingly since day one. If my daughter wakes in the night, I will just simply turn Ewan back on and she instantly goes back to sleep. She loves to play with Ewan through the day as well, and whenever she sees him, she instantly smiles at him. I would have liked a feature where if my daughter stirred in the night, Ewan would just come on himself. I know there are other white noise toys that do this, so it would have been nice for Ewan to include this feature. Also just so you are aware, Ewan cannot be washed because of the control switch inside. So it would have been useful for the control switch box to be removable so that Ewan can be washed.
